Last Saturday Amanda and I joined the San Jose chapter of Live Action to go on the annual Pro Life march “Walk For Life” in San Francisco. This was our second time attending and we were very encouraged by how many people came out. According to the official Walk For Life West Coast website, there were approximately 50,000! Their site has more information and you can also find plenty of videos on YouTube of the rally and the walk.
This time around I wanted to take advantage of the great opportunity to shoot some video footage, so I brought my camera along for the ride. Unfortunately, I was in a rush and I packed the wrong battery. I was only able to film for the first 20 minutes after arrival, but I still captured some great clips of the rally and didn’t want them to go to waste. Enjoy!
Is it a house being built from the first shovel of dirt. The plans says its a house, but some would say it isn't a house till you start to build above ground. The foundation doesn't count as part of the building of the house. Makes sense right? Uhhhh no.
In like fashion it is a human from the moment the plans are finalized and "construction" begins. That would be conception.
This is where I believe the battle must be won. By reduction to the absurd the truth is clear. We must define life, and fold it into existing protections.
