On December 22nd, we received a threatening complaint from a man who claimed his daughter was in our “Halloween Evangelism 2011” video and threatened our lives if we didn’t remove it immediately. He did not say which girl and what specific part of the video.

I made it private right away, both on YouTube and Vimeo and because he put a bogus reply-to email address, I made a public response requesting more details so we could make things right. We waited 2 weeks and heard nothing. The other day, we received 3 notifications from YouTube that the video had been flagged and we needed to respond within 48 hours.

We started preparing a response, but at the 17th hour, it was disabled. We have contacted them since and hope to resolve things soon. Thank you for your advice, prayers and patience.

This is the threatening complaint we received:

From: f***you@f***you.com

“Listen you sons of b*****s. Your video Halloween Evangelism 2011 has my daughter in it. I just found out today. She’s not even 18! I see you guys preaching downtown all of the time. I didn’t know you recorded underage girls in your videos and then post them on the internet! Me and my brothers know who you guys are, but you don’t know who we are. I promise you that if you don’t take this video down, you will meet God earlier than you think. I better not see this f***ing video anywhere else on the internet. We know where you guys preach, we know where to find you. Watch your back motherf***ers!”

We have since uploaded a new version of the video to YouTube and Vimeo omitting the segment we believe to have caused this backlash.
